We visited my sister's house earlier in the day on his birthday. Dallas loves visiting the Sampson!
Since Dallas only eats the frosting off cakes, I thought I would make a brownie dessert and it was a success, he ate it all!
Opening presents and playing with his new toys!
Here go my list of random facts and pictures:
- Dallas was 87% for height and according to all the height prediction sights he will be about 5'11" when he grows up. He was about 73% for weight.
- He is still OBSESSED with Mickey Mouse. We will cut him off at times when he gets too crazy about that show, but it really brings him so much joy when he gets to watch.
- He loves to jump and run and get into everything. Being outside it the best.
- He still loves water. He can entertain himself with the bath, running water in the sink, or two cups for water for hours.
- He is scared of EVERYTHING. A not so proud moment is when he we Hoooing like an owl, then came running to me and said... owls scare me.
- He is very polite and is great at saying please and thank you. Dan is a big part of that happening.
- He is semi potty trained. In May Dallas was showing interest in going on the potty so we ran with it. 5 months later we are doing pretty good. Contrary to most, he has pooping down and will tell me when he needs to go. Peeing is so much harder and he rarely tells me, but if I take him he goes.
- Dallas easily falls asleep in the car and that was my saving grace on all our trips.
- He is a great talker. I am amazed at how much he knows and can say. He learned his letters really fast and loves to count. He struggles with colors, but is getting there.
- He still loves to snuggle with me. Please always want to do this!!!
It make us laugh that Dallas still sleeps like this. He doesn't stay like this all night, but this is how he falls asleep. To us it looks like he falls asleep while saying prayers :)
- He is hilarious! He has such a funny personality and loves to laugh and make us laugh.
