Dan applied for a new job about a month ago and of course he got it! Yeah for him!!! I am so proud of him. It is still with the State, but instead of a job that he has really maxed out what he can learn and do there, this job will teach Dan a lot and give him great experience. This picture is of the state capitol and no that isn't where he is working, but the Department of Human Resourses (who he works for) is housed in there and he has meetings in there. This week was his first week and so far so good!

We are so happy for Dan - what a great step in moving ahead in his career. But the commute! Yikes! How well I remember Dad's commute into Los Angeles from La Verne ... it was such a drawback to his other wise great job. If Dan is working at the capitol building at least he has an impressive work address! Be sure to get a picture of him outside of it.
